Huhu, ich hab das gleiche Problem, hatte ein Samsung A5 und hab auf Nexus 5x gewechselt.
Where's Cyprin? She struggled, growling like an animal. I felt a spell starting to take hold, and I spoke over her, forcing her mouth shut. I grabbed the knife in her stomach, and twisted it.
She yelled, and I growled, "Where. She glared, but said, "The older dragon is being held at the warehouse by the river.
She gasped, but she was already mostly dead. I spun, mouth open to use magic, but only Brandon was standing there. This was not the day I wanted a human to be complicating things.
I pushed past him. Stay, come with me, go home. Up to you. But hurry up. Brandon followed me, though a little slowly. I growled, and pulled him along.
I pushed him into the passenger side of my car, and started it with a spell. He jumped, but I ignored him. I backed up so quickly I thought my car might flip when I spun it around, but it stayed firmly on the road.
And then I was speeding towards River Way. I can look human, but I'm not. I can use magic, and Cyprin, my 'father' is another dragon charged with protecting me.
There are humans who know how to use magic, and they hunt dragons. I cut him off. Yeah, most people think so.
That's why we don't tell people about us. Technically, I'm breaking the law right now. Brandon faced me.
I nodded, and pulled onto River Way. You will stay in the car. If I don't come out, go home and go on with your life. They don't have any reason to bother you.
Got it? He nodded weakly. I got out of the car, but left it running. Not looking back, I ran to the doors and forced them open. I let out a roar when I ran into the warehouse, gathering all my strength for a blowout.
I knew that this wouldn't be easy, or even possible. I was likely going to my own death. They had taken Cyprin, who was much more powerful than me.
I was expecting to die. What I wasn't expecting was to see a single man, highlighted by the glow of industrial lighting. He stood easily, relaxed.
I glanced left and right, but there was no-one else. I let my magic fade slightly. I didn't have time for games.
Tell me, or I'll splatter you across the walls. I had no doubts that I could blast this human sorcerer into next week.
Very messily. The man raised an eyebrow, not seeming the least bit worried. Why, when I was your age, dragons didn't talk to their elders that way.
I clenched my teeth. But not in any way deserving of my respect, human. Now, where is Cyprin? The man laughed.
Your senses are dulling, youngling. I may not seem like it, but I am very much a dragon. I took a step back, and he stepped with me.
I didn't, not until the choice was made. I was like you once, back in the fifteen-hundreds. I ran across a group of hunters, and they lured my protector by using me as bait.
Sadly, the cost was my dragon form. I can no longer return to my true form, but my magic is greater than any dragon now.
And like their magic, mine is amplified by dragon blood, scales and other things. So you see, my young dragon, I need you to bring your protector here, and I will happily take your blood for my own purposes.
I let my magic out. It was powerful, and against any human, it would have crushed them like a soda can. But he raised his hands, and my magic died.
Just like that. I felt invisible, iron-like bonds clamp on my arms and legs, sending me crashing to the floor. I swore colorfully, but the man just smiled.
Cyprin, I believe you called him? I swore again, and started working on the magic holding me in place.
I could feel it, sense it pulsing. It was strong, but I could at least fight it. It slowly lessened. The man didn't seem to notice, though I knew he could feel it.
I was going to die. He was too strong. Cyprin would come, to save me, and he would die as well. It was hopeless. Barely ten minutes after my capture, Cyprin burst through the doors, hands raised and blazing with magic.
My captor turned to face him, his face lighting up. I tried to warn Cyprin, but the magic didn't let me speak.
But Cyprin didn't appear to need my warning. He slowly lowered his arms, and spoke. It's been a long time. I wanted to scream at him, to tell him to kill the rogue dragon.
Alcavar smiled. Indeed, it's been centuries. Who'd have thought that this whelp was your charge? But it does make things so much easier.
Never in all my years have I seen a duel like the one displayed before my eyes. And I hope I never do again. Alcavar unleashed a torrent of fire from his outstretched fingers, bathing the room in a wild, hungry glow.
Cyprin clapped his hands, and waved his arms, causing the fire to pass harmlessly by him. His counter attack was a bolt of lightning.
Alcavar caught it in his hand, smirking. Then the lightning splintered, and spiderwebbed around the rogue, catching him from all sides.
He sank to one knee, arms raised to keep the lightning at bay. Cyprin gestured to me, and my bonds dropped away. I was on my feet instantly, my lips opened to use my own magic.
And then doors started opening around the room. Sorcerers poured in, their arms bare and hands filled with flames, lightning and ice.
I devoted my attention to the humans, while Cyprin battled Alcavar, who had broken free of Cyprin's spell. The humans weren't as strong as the three who had attacked me on the road, and it was fairly easy to overcome them.
I lifted one, and threw her, screaming, into the others. Four went down under her flailing body, and I set the heap of struggling limbs on fire.
Cyprin flew past me, propelled by one of Alcavar's spells. As he hit the ground, he rolled, drawing his sword as he regained his feet. I knew that his sword was enchanted, able to resist magic.
He cut down two humans, their attempts to stop his blade foiled, and they lifelessly dropped to the cold concrete floor. I tried my best to ignore Cyprin's duel, knowing that if I lapsed in my own concentration, they would overcome me.
I slashed at one young man as he came too close, opening a gash in his throat. A powerful concussion rocked the building, and a few of the humans fell to their knees.
I risked a look over at the dueling dragons. They were locked in a power struggle. Cyprin and Alcavar stood facing each other, waves of power radiating from them.
The sorcerers closest to them were backing away, pain in their faces. I took advantage of that, hacking down a few with my claws.
The battle resumed after a few moments. I found myself confronted with a fairly competent man, who threw handfuls of fire at me.
But in the end, I slew him with a quick sliver of magic through his skull. I heard another door open. Great, I thought. More of them. I turned, magic blazing, to see Brandon standing there, a shocked look on his face.
I swore, pushing him behind me and backing into a corner as the sorcerers attacked me again. I cussed Brandon out as best I could while still casting spells.
She too ended up splattered everywhere. Do I need to put you on a leash? About half of them were dead.
A sword slipped past my guard, and sank into my upper-arm. I gasped, and the woman who'd slashed me crumpled like a tin can.
I called out, "Cyprin! From where I knew Cyprin was, the sword came spinning through the air. With a practiced hand, I caught it and slashed at a man holding an axe, and the blade swept through him like butter.
I glanced at Brandon, and handed him the sword. Cyprin was transforming. The warehouse groaned as my protector grew into a massive gray dragon.
His jaws opened, and a fearsome roar poured out, along with a tongue of flame. Alcavar was backing away, mouthing spells.
But none of those spells helped him much. Cyprin struck, his razor claws clashing against a protective spell that Alcavar cast.
I returned my attention to the other sorcerers, who were fleeing. I summoned lightning, fire, icy storms, taking out half a dozen of them. Even Brandon was fighting, sword clashing with another as he fought a man with a rapier.
Even as I watched, the man feinted and Brandon took the bait. The man's sword lunged past the boy's guard, sinking to the hilt in his stomach.
Brandon gasped, shocked at the feeling of cold steel in his belly. I lost it. All the power I could possibly control, and more, burst out of me at once, with one target.
I ran to Brandon's side, a healing spell on my lips. Already, the battle was mostly over. Cyprin had pinned Alcavar in a corner, his claws and flames eating away the rogue dragon's protection.
The other humans were gone, and probably still running. I pulled the sword out of Brandon as gently as I could, and the instant it was out, I cast my spell.
The skin flowed together, but I knew that he could be bleeding inside. I needed Cyprin's help for that. I turned.
Cyprin roared, and Alcavar screamed, his protection gone. He turned to run, but Cyprin was too fast. He bent down, great scaly head moving with the speed of a viper, and caught Alcavar in his great jaws.
The rogue's screams were silent at once, and Cyprin seemed to shudder, melting away until he was in his human form again. He turned to me, and started walking briskly across the warehouse, his mouth stained red.
I returned my attention to Brandon. He was unconscious, likely from the pain. I laid a hand on his chest, to feel for his heartbeat, when Cyprin's hand covered mine.
I looked up unto his eyes, which were questioning. I nodded, and Cyprin sighed. But he placed both hands over the closed wound on Brandon's abdomen, and a soft blue glow filled the warehouse.
The glow faded, and Cyprin rose. I cannot say I am pleased to find that this human knows of us, but it is not my place to judge. The council will need to be informed.
I cannot say what will happen afterward. Perhaps he will be killed, perhaps not. You seemed to know each other. Cyprin was always so cryptic about his past.
But he surprised me. However, just before he was to leave his, thereby becoming an adult dragon, he was abducted and used as bait.
It was the last time I saw him, after he had assumed human form and killed his captors. He told me that I wasn't his friend, that a true friend would join him in human form, to stave off his depression and loneliness.
We left each other in a fit of rage. One who was human, and yet not human. One with the powers of an elder dragon. As Black Friday nears Codex: which dragon?
